Zane Works His Magic!

Well, Zane is at it again! Always letting us know he's around, watching over us and making magical things happen.

This past Friday, family and friends gathered for a Magic Kingdom day at DisneyWorld. It was a nostalgic day. We managed to get in all the rides that we wanted: Haunted Mansion. Space Mountain. Big Thunder Mountain. The Country Bear Jamboree. The Seven Dwarves Mine Cart. Pirates of the Caribbean. The Jungle Cruise. The Speedway. Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. All boxes ticked!!

But Zane had another plan to enhance the day! My phone rang just as were were heading into the park. It was Maranda, my St. Jude mom who also has a Zane. Her Zane was a patient as a younger guy at St. Jude and is well now, but still monitored yearly with a round of tests at St. Jude.

She wanted to know if I'd like to go with her family that evening to the Magic Kingdom for the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween special event. I knew I wouldn't be able to stay after regular park closing hours as i was the driver of other people. BUT, we had another friend in our party...another Sherri Lynn, like yours truly who had wanted to attend this event for quite a long time. Maranda was happy to pass the ticket along to "other" Sherri.

I stayed after closing by the entrance so I could make introductions to "little" Zane's family and "other" Sherri Lynn. So another Sherri and Zane have come other and made friends and had an epic evening together!
