Zane Visits the Holy Isle of Iona, Scotland!

Hi Everyone!

I am very moved by this message I received earlier this week and wanted to share so we can all relish together in the love that Zane permeates.

Mark and his wife Irene live near Glasgow, Scotland. Zane and I met them at a Black Crowes concert here in Orlando at the House of Blues in 2009 when their sons, Christian and Craig started up a chat with me about my red cowboy boots just before the curtain dropped! Ha! True story. Then, we hung out for that week they were here and as often as we have had the chance in the years since. They are truly amazing, wonderful people and dare I say, my "Scottish" family!

Mark sent a message to me earlier this week that went (mostly) like this: "Hi Sherri, Irene and I visited the Holy Isle of Iona here in Scotland. It's where Christianity came to Scotland thanks to the Irish Saint Columba. Its a mystical place not only for religious people, but also for anyone who needs spiritual solace It also the place were Scottish Kings were buried. We decided to place photographs of Zane in this very special place and hope that his spirit feels free to visit Scotland on his skateboard in the sky whenever he likes. The other person you can see is a family friend who also died tragically young and he was such a fun loving young man like Zane, so hopefully they find a kindred spirit in one another."

Wow. Thank you, Mark and Irene! I love this so much and Zane has let me know that he travels and it brings me joy that he's able to visit such an important and beautiful place and meet Aiden.
