Winding down the Zaner Butt Birthday Week!

Well, howdy doody doo, everyone. Whew! What a week we've been having with the Zaner. We celebrated that kid's 22nd birthday all weekend long! Lots of visits with family and friends, lots of cards and presents, plenty of pie and cake and ALL THE LOVE!

On Thursday, his actual birthday, which kicked off Day 1 of the celebrations, Zane and I watched the Mars rover "Perseverance" land successfully. This was a marvel to execute and we were mesmerized. And I find it very fitting that this landmark event happened on Zane's birthday and told him that he represents "perseverance" as well.

So, we have a couple more birthday visits on deck, but we are starting to wind it down. I mean, if any more balloons are tied to his bed, he might fly away!

So, again, our MANY, MANY thanks to those who sent cards, visited, called, messaged or even just sent a wish through the air. He received it all and the loving vibes are healing vibes. THANK YOU, EVERYONE. #MakeZaneBetter #NeverGiveUp #Perseverance
