St. Jude Continues to Support the Zaner

You guys. I'm in tears right now. Tears of gratitude and love. Just after Zane passed, I received a call from a Bereavement Counselor at St. Jude. She told me of the programs St. Jude has for bereaved families and helped me get registered for some "Legacy" forums. She told me of the annual Legacy event St. Jude holds each year to honour their patients who've passed on (this year's event will be virtual...thanks Covid!). I'm telling you, St. Jude thinks of everything. EVERYTHING. Such a magical place should a family have the unfortunate opportunity to spend time there. The mothership I've called it. They are nothing short of extraordinary in every possible way.

Then, just now, I get a call from the funeral home that handled things for Zane and they tell me that St. Jude contacted them and has covered all his arrangements I've paid for and they are reimbursing me every penny. Honestly, I'm a blubbering mess over here.
