Zane had some special visitors today. Heather and Zoe Daniel visited with Baby Girl Everleigh. Zane held her in his arms. So sweet. #MakeZaneBetter

Hello Zaner Fans! I've been behind in keeping up with all things medical-related about Zane, but to be honest, it's a frustrating mess still with the insurance to switch him from comfort hospice care to well-care, so let me hold off on that a bit longer. I'm still not a happy camper and it won't do me (or you) any good to bitch and moan here. There's ENOUGH of that these days on social meeting as it is!
Zane does continue to show ever-so-slight signs of improvement though. Things I don't always notice on the daily, but when I reflect back on a week, two, a month, etc, it's clear that Zane is fighting to come round to us! Keep praying for his full recovery!
We have had a few more visitors these past few days. Today we saw Robin A. Baxter for a tearful emotional reunion. Between us, we've had some real "mommy" challenges. Ones that nobody should have to bear. On the brighter side, the Von Meding family was around by way of Ireland and Stateside. Deborah Von Meding and hubs Jason (and kids), along with Mom Kathy von Meding have been visiting and aside from meals shared, they left us with these beautiful flowers. This bouquet is so large, I had to split it into two vases! Thank you to the entire Von Meding family...they've been so good to us.
That reminds me to tell you about the beautiful pottery vase in the second photo. This was a gift from Kathy Galante Edwards. She picked this out for me at the Mt. Dora Art Festival last year and has held on to it to give to me personally. A local potter by the name of Steve Gordon made this with a technique all his own using Crystalline Porcelain. Also, he donates ALL of his profits at certain times of the year to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital! Please find Steve at the next art festival he's at and support his work!
More from us soon! #MakeZaneBetter
