Hey Gang! Hope you are all feeling full after your Thanksgiving weekends and it was lovely, even if it was a different kind of Thanksgiving than usual.

Our Thanksgiving weekend closed out with a really special visit. The Lisenby family from Florence, South Carolina came to see Zane. Tripp, was admitted at age 16 to St. Jude early January 2020, about a month after we arrived and they were our neighbors just feet away in our housing at Parcels @ Crosstown Concourse. Tripp also had medullablastoma (brain cancer) like Zane and our families went through treatment together (well, mostly...Zane's was cut short but that's not the point). It was so good to see this family! They were with us when we were at our worst and are still with us now, from afar.

It's also my pleasure to report that Tripp's treatment was successful and he's 100% cancer free and back to driving, school and his life before this horrific year robbed him of being "normal." Tripp champed through when the chips were down and his family are real gems. Good, solid Christian people who couldn't be more caring for others, even in their own dark days. Here's to continued success for Tripp and his family, always!

Not pictured: Tripp and sister Brianna (they took the photos)!
