MRI Results are Coming Soon!

GOSH. Do they HAVE to list the diagnosis list like THAT? Ugh. Makes this all too real….Well, it’s ok because we ALL know Zane is going to overcome all of THAT, right?

So, a couple of things here. If you’re reading this post on Instagram, the story is now fully populated so all posts now will be current beginning with this one. Apologies for those who were confused with the back story popping up. Seemed to make the most sense to populate Zane’s entire journey chronologically when the @makezanebetter handle was created.

Next, the MRI results. EVERYONE is asking! And I haven’t kept anything from anyone. The radiologist that read the scan didn’t realize there was a more recent MRI from August 2020, so I worked to get that addendum in the notes. Now that has been completed and St. Jude has submitted the test for the oncology review. I can only say there wasn’t anything alarming from the radiologist review that Zane’s me and PCP could ascertain. His ventricles are enlarging again. I don’t love that, but that’s why he has his shunt, so I’m not in any panic over that. What I’m more keen to learn is the nuero oncology review to see about any medullablastoma disease progression.
