Lifting Zaner Up!

Hello and Happy International Women's Day to all the hard-working ladies out there!

It's been a bit since I posted about Zane's medical fight and I'm happy to announce that we just purchased a hoyer lift for Zane to get him up and into his chair easier and ultimately out and about in this beautiful sunshine! That will go a long way to #MakeZaneBetter

We were able to procure this lift from a family who recently lost their 23-year old son. Their heartbreaking story follows many parallels of Zane's and it was emotional to go and meet them and share our stories. I honestly never knew there was anyone in my area going through what I was going through. And astonishing that a close friend knew us both and brought us together. I'll keep the details of their story private and give them the respect of anonymity, but please pray for families that must care for their children with anoxic brain injuries. It's not an easy life, but we love our babies.
