Meeting Merlot, Zane's New 4-Legged Furry Friend

Morning everyone! Rough start to the day yesterday left Zane rather sleepy all day. I spent most of the day on the phone trying to work out insurance stuff for him. Still not gotten his policy in Florida reinstated. At this point, I’m holding the powers that be with criminal charges. This kid needs medical services and I’ve told them they are responsible should he no longer have a thrive to survive. I’m mad as hell. Calls to politicians are next. I’ll try to be hopeful but when I was fighting to bring Zane home, not one single call was returned then. But I’ll try to remain optimistic.

Meanwhile, Zane did get a dog therapy sesh with Merlot, a toy Shnautzer. Thanks to Paul and Stacey for bringing her by. We think this might be a nightly after dinner routine. Zane really enjoyed her company.
