Out of Bed and in a Chair!

Good morning from Lake Fairview. We’ve had a busy week. I’m still trying to get Zane’s insurance reinstated in Florida. It’s maddening. Until that happens, I’ve been on my own for his care, apart from a home health aide coming 3x a week for bathing, and his nurse popping in a few times. I’ve still got Duane my RN friend helping out. Thank goodness for that. We take shifts and we each get to go to the lake and pool and relax an hour here and there.

This morning we managed to move Zane to a recliner for the first time. Manny and Marla helped and it went rather well. So pleased! This is the first time Zane’s been out of bed since May 12th. We are very proud of our trooper. Pray we can get his rehab services set and see some improvement neurologically.
