There's No Place Like Home

Hi all! We’re home! Zane is doing well after the extra day in hospital. No real medical challenges. We had a mechanical issue with the first bed delivered, so we did have to move him around this morning to a new one. I’m learning tube feeds. What to do. And more importantly, what NOT do do. 🤦‍♀️ Ben has been by our side most of the time and he’s crushing it learning to pill crush and dilute for tube infusions. We’ve got 24/7 coverage for the first 48 hours. Then the real challenge begins...full time caregiving! Learning the ropes and soaking in all the advice by our visiting medical teams. Al the while, we pray Zane comes round and shows is more of his fighting spirit!
