Almost Home. Closer Anyway!

Hello All! My apologies for leaving everyone in the lurch yesterday. Just as the doctor at South Seminole Hospital, where Zane has been under observation since our Survival Flight arrival, were chatting about our discharge yesterday, Zane went through something new we haven't seen before. He began breathing rapidly, making a "sound" like moaning almost, tensed up and his eyes starting darting all over the place. Didn't last long, but I looked at her and said "What do you think THAT was?" She said "That was a seizure. You aren't going home today."

The weird thing of it all is at that moment, I was trying to convince the doc I didn't want to go home just yet because Zane had ran a fever the day before and I was concerned about the source. I felt another day to be sure the antibiotics were working was in order before we went home. I was sitting on the bed with Zane and it's almost as if he heard me and did what he could to be sure I got my way. Nice one, bud! But, honestly, you don't need to scare us to help us!

In any case, all has been quiet since and we are waiting to see the doc today to see if we will go home this afternoon. His bed and equipment has been delivered and we are ready. Thanks to all who helped get things ready for his arrival these last couple of days. Love you guys!
