Who Believes in Signs?

I want to thank you ALL here for your love and support for Zane during this time. I am still holding out every single hope (and grasping for more and more) that Zane can recover and we also are still hoping to come home to Orlando TOGETHER.

Meanwhile, while I drown in despair, I had a surprise yesterday. And I'll call it a sign from God. Mary Grieder is in town and she scooped me up from the hospital to go home for a home-cooked meal and a shower (no hot water on our floor at the moment...ugh) and we drove to the Overton Park area to find a place to eat outside. We settled for Lafayette's (try the Garlic & Chile Edamame). After having our tab paid for by a nearby random, sweet customer, we wandered out of the place and wanted a stroll around the block before going back to the hospital. Imagine my surprise when I glanced down an alley and noticed the Overton Park Love Locks Installation my family had discovered on their own last month. I never knew where this installation was in the City, only that they had been there and placed a love lock for Zane. I went right up and there was Zane's lock and I still had the spare key on my keychain. I unlocked his lock and gave it a squeeze and put it back in its place so that Memphis could still lock their love around Zane.
