Chemo Rejuvenation

Howdy everyone! Things here at St. Jude are starting to dial back up to 11 after a holiday intermission of sorts. Had a rather full day of appointments with the Zaner today. Today marks 23 days since his first round of chemo so we thought he might be admitted for Round 2, but that’s not until next week. As it turns out, he’s on a 28-day calendar with that. So, great news in the physical therapy department..he’s a rock star there! His red blood cell counts though were a bit low (not abnormal) so he is receiving a platelet transfusion which should put even more pep in his step! Meanwhile, I opted for the opposite today and had a nap and two rounds of “therapy” in the rejuvenation chair! #MakeZaneBetter #StJudeLife
