Chemo Port Installed

Hey y'all. Here’s a quick update. Surgery got underway late today. It's been an action packed day. Zane is out of surgery now and in recovery. He will be admitted after recovery and have 2 rounds of chemo over the next two days. 3 types of chemo. 2 tomorrow. And 1 repeat and the other Thursday. Each take about an hour. Then once he bounces back ... we wait about 21 days and do it all again. Then scans to see what's happening and go from there. Might then revert back to the original 4 to 6 weeks radiation plan, followed by chemo or see if more chemo up front is necessary again. Zane has apparently broken the mold of normal medullablastoma presence. He is presenting very rare circumstances. Of course. 🙄 So that's the new game plan for now.

Meanwhile, I just went to fetch the mail and was sent to get a wagon. Usually little kids go in the wagon, but ya know...we gotta go and be special...
