Life on St. Jude Campus

Hey all...so while I wait for Zane to have his PET scan, I thought I'd write a bit about what life is like at St. Jude as an outpatient. First, we live in Tri-Delta Place, which is one of the outpatient housing options St. Jude offers its patients. It's the only option on-campus and is meant to be short-term. We will soon be assessed to move to longer term housing but for now we live in a hotel-type environment (which we've done our best to make homey), the ground floor having living rooms, a cafe, a teen room, a computer room, a DVD movie check-out and general supply area. There is a laundry room on each floor and a cleaning service. Shuttles will take us to the hospital and back. Once Zane is out of the wheelchair, we will just walk...for now when it's not too cold or windy, I just push him along. The walk is nice as they are all decked out for Christmas right now. Each evening we check our app and confirm our appointments and keep our calendar that way. Here's a few pics of what St. Jude life is like. #MakeZaneBetter #StJudeLife
